Let’s go round in circles.

It’s respite day again. I cannot help but enjoy it.

We had a little glitch earlier this week when we thought we had to be in so many places this evening. Take 13 to respite, pick up Hub’s mother and niece from the train station on their return from the trip to Scotland for the funeral of MiL’s brother AND get in to town for the time we booked our meal. 22 booked the table one night and cancelled it the next.

Thankfully the respite providers are able to collect 13 from school this afternoon so that leaves just the trip to the station which is early enough to go out later.

It’s awful to be thinking so much about getting some time out, I know this. I know so many get no respite at all in their care for severely disabled children, partners, parents. We really do appreciate the break, that relief that says, she loves going there, she is well looked after and happy, we can sit back and relax a little.

In other news, it was actually dry on my walk to work yesterday and due to a slightly later start I had a little time to use the big girl camera. Mostly I am happy with how they turned out, although I think I shall have to admit landscape or street photography does not seem to be my thing. Don’t start with comments how none of it is my thing, it keeps me happy.

I have linked some of them to the 52 Photos Project hosted by Bella Cirovic.

And, despite the fact I doubt I’ll ever get to grips with landscapes:

Dawn Tucker - DO enjoy it – like I’ve said previously, anyone who doesn’t get that obviously doesn’t understand the constraints you live with day in, day out.
Again some beautiful colours in your photos. I don’t really care if they’ve been processed in some way, they are just lovely. This may inspire me to get my own camera out – we all get too reliant on just using our phone cameras!

Deborah - fabulous captures!

Penbleth - Thank you Dawn. These were taken with the real camera, it is so much better although I do love snapping away with the ‘phone camera, it is so handy. Have a good weekend.

Penbleth - Thank you Deborah.

Catherine - I can’t quite get to grips with landscapes either even though I really want to…although my camera is so basic it probably just can’t cope with all that image.I look at a landscape and it looks so utterly gorgeous but then when I look at the photo I take it just looks miserable and shriveled.
I like the intimacy of close up work and, as I never seem to get out of the garden much, i spend a lot of time taking pictures of plants.
Thank you for your kind comments on my photos I really appreciate it….and these of yours are just truly gorgeous as ever.Love the first one…is it Hogweed?
Enjoy your “free” time! x

Penbleth - Thank you Catherine, the flowers could be hogweed, they really jumped out at me as they were pink and I couldn’t resist anything pink.

I love your photographs, you have such a wonderful view on the world.

We had a lovely night out, thanks. Enjoy your weekend. xo

Kimberley McGill - Enjoy your respit sans guilt – and the pictures are truly lovely
