May saw me launch into a couple of photography e-courses. They were certainly fun and very interesting. I thought I would carry this on throughout June and signed up for another course with Vivienne McMaster, Light Hunters.
We certainly had LOTS of in the second part of May, once that infernal drought got out of the way.
There was AMPLE opportunity for taking images laden with light.
In MAY, when I WASN’T doing the course.
Now it’s June, or as we know it in Britain, Flaming June. Please do not be deceived, this doesn’t mean the sun is a flaming ball of fire burning down daily from the bright blue sky. Oh no, rather the opposite. Think more along the lines of “flaming ‘eck, isn’t there supposed to be something shiny and warm up there? Where IS it? Oh goodie, more wet stuff.”
At this rate I’m going to have to go out and take pictures of puddles.
17 and 19 will love that. It’s almost worth doing just to see their long-suffering faces.

Janet Isserlis - puddles have light. ish. xo
Catherine - Gorgeous images as ever.
Penbleth - Thank you.
Aimee Giese | Greeblemonkey - These are FANTASTIC!
Penbleth - Thank you Aimee. The macro lens does let us see so much, doesn’t it and the standard wide on a sunny day also isn’t bad. Shame there has been so little sun here to capture.
