It’s been quiet here since mid-October according to the date of the last post. It’s been an eventful few months, mostly to do with eyes.
13′s eye problems seem to have reached some level of resolution now she is rather reluctantly down to one pillow, who would have thought THAT was the cause. I won’t go in to more on that.
I also have eye issues, fairly serious ones, apparently. More on that again. Perhaps.
In the meantime we have had Christmas, complete with six-foot tree for the first time in many years. 13 shot it a few glances and on one occasion did threaten to pull off some of the baubles but she and I reached an understanding, she would behave and we would all enjoy the tree, or she wouldn’t and risk a scolding and the dead-eye. Clever girl that she is she went for the first option.
Christmas has now gone, 13 has gone to respite and the decorations have been consigned to the over-stairs cupboard for another year. I love getting the tree decorated for Christmas and I ADORE getting rid of it in the new year. Once the day has gone I am afraid I see it as OVER.
So, first post in a while. Perhaps I’ll get back to being a bit more regular.

Audra - I’m glad you’re back! I too enjoy getting all of the decorations down and put away. I pity the people who have to return home from work today to a house full of decorations.
